When I woke up the sun was shining and it looked like a gorgeous day, so instead of going back to bed I decided to take the camera for a walk and see if I could find some pictures. I walked like a snail, but by the time I got home I was really tired. I’m so glad I didn’t go back to bed…at least not until after I got back from my walk! I had to share some of the pictures I found in sunny Stamford this morning…or yesterday morning…
It was a really lovely day!

Hey I like the pics. I wish I could come and see them myself.

I always love seeing your photos. “Blessed to have eyes” What a great way to put it!

Beautiful! Once again I’m jealous of you living in such an incredible place. What it must be like to walk outside and see such architecture. Do you take it for granted? I hope not.
I think you should take a ride on the swings. I doubt your ‘size’ is to big.
Funny thing: I had a friend ask me today whether or not I thought she’d break a chair if she stood on it. How do you answer a question like that!?

@charity
Take it for granted? No way! Not after living eight years in a city that must not be named. It was hideous and awful at the same time! I love being able to go out side and see beautiful things.
I don’t know if I’ll go on the swings though it is tempting. I have gained weight since you last saw me, though Sunday evening I decided I’d go back on the healthy eating Monday so I packed away the rest of my stem-ginger dark chocolate covered cookies (I didn’t just eat them which I thought was good) and the rest of my chocolate and I decided I’m going to exercise every day even if it only means walking out of the house and down the street and back again. Anything is better than nothing. So today I went for a walk in the park with the Goblin. He went off on his power walk and I took pictures while I tortured my legs.
As for breaking chairs…always best to go on the safe side and say, “Chairs weren’t made to be stood on!” 😉

Cari, thank you for sharing the pictures. Take more of the same, nature and old buildings they are just lovely. Enjoy your walks, it’s tireing but you will feel better afterward. On the insect book I was already smiling before I saw your comment.Do you think it’s a nome de plume? Do you have one? anyway I think the author on the insect book has a sense of humor.
