I was hoping to be done by now, but the last three weeks (months) it’s been one illness after the other before during and after the Goblin’s summer holiday (which was a wash out as it rained almost every day). Today the sun came out. I finally felt well after getting some decent sleep (so my brain was working) so I was able to finish chapter 49 (for the third time). I think there’s only one more chapter and then it’s done done done. I live in hope.
Hi Cari,
I am sooooo looking forward to reading Dancing the Maypole! Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Sally
Hi there, it has been quite a while since I posted a message. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy all your blogs, how you take the time to keep us updated (ungrateful, greedy wretches that we are)So please Miss Cari do take care of your health first so all those wonderfull stories and characters sitting inside your brain have a chance of being born. We, your readers need to realize that all great works; paintings, sculpters, music, and literature take time to be created they have to evolve at their own pace (case in point your characters) that’s what makes your books so special, hard to put down until we come to the end. Take care child, the Maypole will be finished when it’s ready and not a moment sooner. Victoria
@Sally Irvine
I keep telling myself that as long as I’ve written the right story…the characters will keep talking and I won’t go mad for wanting to know how all the unfinished stories in my head unfold! I’m sooo looking forward to being done. 🙂 Thanks for your good wishes!!!
@victoria
I think you must be getting post from my characters!!! This is what they keep saying to me too. I started chapter fifty today. I’m not sure if it’s right or if the story is just showing me something that may not need to go into the final story…it does that sometimes…but it’s moving and that makes me very happy!!!
